The incentive programs for rideshare in California are created to decrease the vehicles for commuting to the workplace. The southern California requires clean air and this can be done by adopting the carpool or rideshare programs. The motor vehicles give away almost half the total amount of man-made air pollution in the US at present. Employers of California, who are working with more than 250 employees at one workplace, should try to reduce the vehicle usage. They should decrease the number of vehicles used for commuting to the workplace.
